The Watersland band started with Steven (guitar & vocals), Colin (bass guitar) and Barry (drums) in the late ’70s playing an eclectic mix of mostly originals, with some blues country, R&B. and MoTown. After playing some bar gigs, they decided to become a basement band and continued to enjoy playing and creating music together.  The Urban Angst and Not an Orange albums represent their original music from those early years.

Some thirty years later Marg (vocals & percussion) and Dorothy (keys) joined the band and the repertoire expanded to include covers from the 50’s to the 2000’s; Janiva Magness, Yvonne Moore, Grace Potter, Fitz and the Tantrums, Duffy, and more. 

Watersland continues to perform primarily for private functions and records their music at Watersland Studio.
